DIVA the Fashion Show

Silvio Garick, hairstylist extraordinaire together with his multi-talented team are preparing a fashion show on Sunday 3rd October at Michelangelo Cafe Lounge in Valletta.

We spoke to Silvio to know more about it.

What inspired you to this fashion show?

I was inspired by the movie Evita, specifically how the character herself as Evita is being portray for being a strong woman, a Diva and her sense of style and initially the idea popped out.

What is your vision for this show?

My main goal was to bring out the Diva side from each and every model. From there I started brainstorming how I am go to incorporate 12 different artistic up styles along with  12 different locations also with 12 different make up looks on 12 different female models.

Who is behind this vision?

The team consists of 4 local artists, I Silvio Garick as a hairstylist,  Henry Vassallo as a designer that showed immediate interest to be part of this project, Antonella Mizzi as a makeup artist and last but not least Kevin Cassar as the official photographer for this project.

As mentioned previously 12 female models were involved and the shoots took place in different whereabouts in Malta.

Where and when will this be held?

To close off this project I contacted Michelangelo café lounge to host our closing event which will be a fashion show and it will be held on Saturday 3rd October, show will start at 9pm. During the fashion show all 12 looks that were incorporated throughout the photo-shoots will be showcased at the fashion show.
