ARC 2019 AGM

Dear Friend,

It is the time of the year in which most registered Voluntary Organisation’s hold their AGM. Various important decisions are taken during AGMs, and this is why we would like to invite you to attend. We would like you to Belong and be a part of arc. As a member you can be part of the Growth of the organisation and Contribute by voting for the goals, projects and future decisions arc is planning to undertake as part of its mission.

You can do this through the following means:

1) Voting for the new Executive Committee or standing as a candidate for the new Executive Committee:

Voting

Every arc member can vote for the persons they deem to be fittest to be part of the Executive Committee. It is very important to be registered as a member and present your ID card on the day, in order to receive your voting ballot. Please ensure that you are a listed member with arc. Membership/Renewals can be made by effecting a €10.00 money transfer via PayPal Yearly Subscriptions[1] by clicking on: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=T3A6MG2HCKMBQ

In case you prefer to effect a bank transfer or pay in cash on the day of the AGM please get in touch.

Nominations

Up to 9 members can be elected for the Executive committee.

Expression of interest to contest for the executive committee can be effected by filling in the nomination sheet. Nomination sheets must be received by arc by noon on Thursday 14th March, 2019.

2) Putting forward motions or amendments to the Statute for the consideration of the AGM.

As a member you also have the right to put forward motions (with a view to influencing the direction that the organisation is to take and to mandate the Committee to take appropriate action) as well as to submit amendments to the Statute and which is available upon request).

Deadlines for submitting motions or amendments is by noon on Thursday 7th March, 2019
