Great Response for HIV Self-Test Kits

As part of its efforts to encourage SAI (sexually acquired infection) testing in Malta, arc offered free HIV test kits to those who applied through a simple online form on gaymalta.com or on arc's facebook page. ARC is happy to announce that the test kits were over subscribed within the first couple of hours. but on the other hand arc is concerned that over 1/3 one third of the applicants never visited the GU Clinic and currently arc's funds are not sufficient to offer free test kits to all the applicants. ARC will inform all the applicants where they can purchase the test kits online, provide additional information and encourage these applicants to visit the GU clinic for a test. arc is handing a pack to the first applicants containing: 1 Letter with Local information on GU 1 Bio Sure Hiv Self Test Kit 1 Leaflet with information on Sexual Health Free Condoms

The first applicants who successfully claimed their test kits will be contacted in the coming days.

In the meantime ARC is working to gain additional funds to offer more test kits in the future. In November and December ARC and MGRM co-ordinated World Day activities, issued a joint press release and Participated in the European Testing Week.
